DOBUSTAT is Adrenergic Agonist Agent, Cardiac stimulant in CHF ,Directly acting inotropic agent. Dobutamine exerts its pharmacological action by selectively stimulating beta-1 adrenergic receptors. It is a positive inotropic drug and increases stroke volume and cardiac out put without significant change in heart rate, peripheral resistance and BP. It improves coronary blood flow and myocardial oxygen consumption. Absorption: It administered intravenously.
